Top court holds symposium to enhance legal services for international commercial disputes

On May 25, the Supreme People Court (SPC) held a symposium on the construction of the one-stop diversified resolution platform for international commercial disputes, as well as the development of the Belt and Road demonstration zone for international commercial legal services, in Xi’an, Northwest China Shaanxi province. Attending Vice-President of the SPC Tao Kaiyuan presented letters of appointment to the third group of International Commercial Expert Committee members, and delivered a speech. Tao called for promoting the innovative development of the platform from the perspective of serving overall national development in a bid to provide strong legal guarantees for the country opening-up, building a high-quality platform in order to enhance performance on international commercial dispute resolution, and pursuing new development achievements to collaboratively make the country a preferred site for international commercial dispute resolution.
