Partner Kevin Gave A Lecture on Constitutional Law

At 3 p.m. on April 10, 2018, invited by Laoshan District Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Qingdao, Lawyer Liu Kai of our law firm attended the working conference that theme is ” Study,  Investigation and Improvement” of the District Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, and held a lecture on constitutional knowledge, explaining the constitutional amendment of 2018 and related constitutional knowledge.

Firstly, Lawyer Liu Kai briefly introduced the general situation of the Constitution. Through a brief explanation of the legal status, historical background and purpose of the Constitution, the basic framework of the theoretical knowledge of the Constitution is constructed for the audience.

Secondly, Lawyer Liu Kai briefly introduced several chapters of the Constitution to further deepen the audience’s understanding of the framework of the Constitution.

Lawyer Liu Kai gave an emphatic explanation on the contents of the 2018 Constitutional Amendment, such as the Supervisory Committee, the Ecological Civilization, the Community of Human Destiny, the promotion of socialist core values, and the deletion of no more than two consecutive terms of President. He helped the audience to interpret the contents of the 2018 Constitutional Amendment profoundly and accurately.  

Lastly, Mr. Liu Kai explained the basic rights and obligations of citizens closely related to the work of the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau.  The lecture ended satisfactorily. Through training and learning, audience have benefited a lot.
